How pricing works
A clear scope before the work begins.
There is no useful one-size-fits-all price for a move that may involve a lifetime of belongings, a detailed household setup, multiple providers, or a changing timeline. We explain the work before asking you to commit to it.

Three simple steps to a custom proposal
- 01
Clarify the transition
The first conversation identifies the broad situation, timing, decision-makers, and the support that feels most valuable.
- 02
Understand the home and scope
When appropriate, a walkthrough helps clarify belongings, access, logistics, what must happen first, and which specialists may be needed.
- 03
Receive the written plan
Before work begins, you receive a custom scope and estimate that shows A Weight Lifted’s role and any separately contracted services.
What shapes the scope
The work is built around the move—not a pre-set package
- The homes involved, access, and move logistics
- The timeline and pace that is realistic for the household
- The volume of belongings and number of decisions involved
- The level of planning, family communication, and provider coordination requested
- Whether settling-in, unpacking, organizing, or former-home coordination is included
- Appropriately licensed moving providers or other specialists needed for the plan
Common questions
Transparent about the moving parts
Can we hire A Weight Lifted for only one difficult stage?
Yes. Some clients need an end-to-end transition; others need help with a specific stage, such as belongings decisions, a floor plan, provider coordination, move-day oversight, or a new-home setup.
What services may be separately contracted?
Moving providers, storage, cleanout, appraisal, sale, donation, and other specialists may be separately contracted when appropriate. Their role and cost are not hidden inside A Weight Lifted’s scope.
Why not list a price range?
Public price ranges can look clear while concealing the decisions that actually determine the work. An individualized proposal lets you see what is included, who is responsible for what, and where outside services may be needed.
Does the initial call obligate us to move forward?
No. The Transition Clarity Call is a 20-minute conversation to identify what needs attention now, what can wait, and whether hands-on support is a fit.
